Breathwork is the term used for breathing techniques or exercises that intentionally change your breathing pattern in order to achieve physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.

It can be as simple as adding a breath hold after every inhale and exhale, and many people who have attended yoga classes may have done alternate nostril breathing, or full yogic breath.

What ever type of breathwork it is, there is much research already pointing to the breath as a powerful tool for calming the nervous system, improving sleep, reducing inflammation, and improving the balanced functioning of the body. 

Breathwork can also be used to achieve a greater sense of wellbeing and connection to self - through guiding you into the inner world, allowing stuck energy and emotions to be processed and released.   

Ren is a breathwork guide and teacher - with training in Pranayama (the yogic form of breathwork) and Conscious Connected Breathwork ( also known as Rebirthing Breathwork).

These two forms of breathwork compliment each other well.
